Chewing gum might boost your brain.
A new research from Cardiff University has shown that chewing gum might actually improve attention, reduce response time and improve blood flow to the brain.
The explanation provided by the researchers is that chewing gum leads to production of higher levels of insulin which in turn stimulates areas of the brain and improve cognitive performance.
Still, I am one of those who think that this should not be an excuse to chew your gum everywhere and all the time…
